How cool are our huts?!
The Rockets had a incredibly exciting day creating and innovating and working interdependently. There were some superb creations including huts with toilets, t.v's and even one with the kitchen sink!
We were so amazing, we even made the pages of Hawkes Bay Today on Saturday 16th of April. Did you see us?
Jake The Peg
This is our most loved song at the moment, and it’s known as “Ryan’s Song” – it’s not hard to see why!
The Big Fat Gorilla (and Mr O' D)
We had a great time last week, when Mr O'D came in to teach us one of his favourite games. It's now our favourite game!
Its all about a bit fat Gorilla, down in the jungle...

White Pine Bush
Whole School Tramp, White Pine Bush.
Wednesday, March 9th 2011.

Leadership was the focus of our recent day trip to White Pine Bush. The students learnt many new things about the New Zealand bush and responded with wonderment and awe to the ancient Kahikatea (White Pine) they discovered there.
Our seniors worked together to identify possible hazards along the way, in preparation for designing their own risk management plan. They really did us proud, ably leading us through the whole experience.
Thanks, seniors!

Art Attack!
The Room 2 Rockets have had an outstanding day today, creating their very own rockets. (What else?!)
The Rockets have left me in complete Wonderment and Awe, blasting off into the stratosphere, completely surpassing the Success Criteria that we constructed.
Stunning work Rockets.
We would love to see your feedback!
Thank you.

Marvelous Marvin
Marvin, the marvelous Habits of Mind monkey (our mascot) is in residence already. We will all be learning together, using a variety of tools such as our fabulous Thinking Maps and the Habits of Mind. It will be fun learning to be independent, reflective and successful learners using these tools.
Nau Mai, Haere Mai
Nau Mai, Haere Mai. Welcome to Room 2, 2011.
