This term, The Rockets have been learning about New Zealand. They are investigating the question “Who are we as New Zealanders?” On Tuesday of this week, we went to Hastings to learn about the early colonial settlers. This was an educational programme run by the Hawkes Bay Museum. A big thank you to Mrs O’Dowda and our fantastic parent helpers - we couldn’t have done it without you!

The Brainiaks and the Rockets used the Habits of Mind this morning when creating patterns. We showed that we were able to Think Interdependently, by working together in our groups to create patterns with our bodies. Marvin and Honey Bear were watching, filled with Wonderment and Awe.
