Shake your groove thing!

The Rockets let loose and had a really good boogie last night at our school disco. Everyone was able to dress up as their favourite fairytale character. The Maraekakaho Hall was a buzz with fantastic Fairies, perilous Pirates, slinky Spidermen, prepossessing Princesses and some tense Teachers concerned about their Zumba prowess!

Thanks to Maraekakaho Friends of School - with special mention to the amazing Lisa Byers - the night went off without a hitch.

Who is your favourite fairytale character?

We love your fairytale costumes. The boys in Room 16 HES like Captain Hook the pirate! The girls like Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. Alaa's favourite book character is 'The Cat in the Hat. It looks like you had a great time dancing at your disco. Did the teachers do a dance for you?

Thank you for the comment. I think Pooh Bear is a really cool character to dress up as. I hope you have a disco soon too. It will be so fun.

Thank you for your comment. The teachers danced with us, but they didn't do a dance. There were some prizes!
