Book Week on PhotoPeach
We have had such a fun day today at Maraekakaho School. To celebrate book week, we dressed up as our favourite book character for the day. It was all very exciting, we paraded class by class in the morning. All the classes were judged and prizes awarded. We are continuing our "readathon" for the next two weeks.

What a fun day you all had. We really love Book week at our school and we dress up as well. We parade down the street in Richmopnd and through the Mall. All the shoppers love seeing us as the parade as there is usually most of our school.
It was hard for me to choose a favourite character. You all looked so wonderful. Mrs Eden.

The prizes were chocolate eggs and mini chocolate bars. We chose the costumes ourselves.
